Woodland Opportunities
The beauty of Ketches is the individual woodland areas. Each wood listed below is detached and separated by arable or grass fields giving a feeling of seclusion without the potential risk, making them ideal for novices and taster sessions for Bushcraft or Survival.
About our woodland
All the woodland on Ketches have elements of managed and natural woodland. Some areas are under active coppicing rotations, others have access for safety reasons such as rotten or fallen trees needed to be made safe. Largely they are undisturbed when leaving the tracks.
Availability is limited to February to July and during this time the day to day running of the estate continues, this may include track renewal, arable crop management and maintenance tasks farm wide.
